Location: This role will be based out of the SAP Concur office located in either Bellevue, WA or Eden Prairie, MN

Position Description

The Technical Consultant’s role is to i nstall, configure, integrate, and test SAP Concur software for client implementations. Responsible for the technical configuration of customer specific environments, including all integration interfaces and technical settings. Working in tandem, and collaborating with, the SAP Concur Project Manager and the SAP Concur Project Team, the Technical Consultant completes project milestones, builds the environments, provides client knowledge transfer, assists in integration work, and transitions the client to their Production environment.

• Maintain all environments throughout the lifecycle of an implementation (Configuration, Test, Production)
• Ability to lead client training and knowledge transfer sessions
• Configure all interfaces ERP, Employee, Credit Card, EFT
• Perform general issue troubleshooting and resolution, including escalations to Development
• Communicate "best practice" recommendations based on prior experiences, and effectively troubleshoot and solve client issues caused by unique client circumstances or software/hardware issues
• Support client’s testing cycles – research complex customer problems, issues, and circumstances and provide recommendation, alternatives and risk assessments to project manager
• Responsible for the migration of configurations between test and production environments
• Liaison with client team members and Concur internal resources to ensure understanding and clear communications
• Ensure completion of deliverables, manage schedules, meet milestones, and ensure creative/technical success
• Develop and maintain technical product knowledge
• Provide contributions to Concur project methodology and document library, which includes development of new documents/processes as well as updating existing documents/processes
• Update Customer Statistics in Knowledgebase and/or CRM systems
• Represent the Department on cross-functional teams
• Communicate consistently and regularly client issue status and progress with the Project Manager
• Be aware of, and comply with, all corporate policies

Position Requirements

• BA/BS or equivalent technical work experience
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US and not require future sponsorship for a US employment visa
• Basic MS SQL skills
• Experience with FTP and PGP file encryption (or similar)
• Strong working knowledge of flat files, XML files, and Excel spreadsheets
• Understanding of data format conversion
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Analysis and troubleshooting skills

Preferred but not Required Skills

• SAP Concur Expense experience
• Experience with SAML SSO technologies, IDP and/or SP-Init
• Experience with ERP or HR systems
• Experience in programming, integration, and/or implementation of cloud environments
• Basic Accounting Principles knowledge
• Project management experience
• Experience working with 3 major credit card provider’s data
• Understanding of supply chain system
• Understanding of business travel and travel agency data
