The Team – Cloud Services Access Management

We are expanding our team’s presence in Bellevue and looking for the best and brightest software engineers to help us simplify and improve software engineering practices at SAP Concur. Cloud Services Access Management shapes the path of an idea to its goal and provides the solutions underpinning production grade service capabilities. The team in Bellevue will focus on solving complex engineering problems as an organization. The group will focus on building the next generation access management ecosystem supporting Concur’s global engineer base.

If you have a great blend of systems, network and software delivery experience; and if you are a great innovator and strive to do something different, then this is the place for you to be in.

“What’s in it for you?” In the first 12 months, you will:

• Contribute to the SAP Concur access management system: a micro service architecture automating access activities, tracking assets through lifecycle, integrating 3rd party services to provide a unified view into software delivery lifecycle
• Engineer prototypes, pitch your ideas, demo your solutions, iterate on received feedback
• End to end ownership of shipped services
• Pitch in during complex troubleshooting exercise requiring depth and breadth of systems and network knowledge
• Solve problems that may either be quick bursts or require engagement with Product Owners
• Drive evolution of DevOps at SAP Concur by contributing to architectural patterns for SAP Concur software engineering
• Build the “Easy” Button for SAP Concur engineers worldwide

In order to accomplish this you will need:

• Track record of end to end service ownership in an agile and test-driven environment
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks (React, AngularJS, Backbone, Ember, etc)
• Experience with building and deploying RESTful APIs
• Experience with either NodeJS or Java (experience delivering services with a MEAN stack is a plus)
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with relational databases and key-value stores
• Experience with UI testing frameworks
• Experience with UX principles and best practices
• Experience managing mixed language and mixed platform environments
• Experience with Unix/Linux systems and public cloud infrastructure and platform services
• Experience with information retrieval, data extraction, and analytics preferred
• Ability to express ideas clearly within a team and across organizations
• Creativity, passion and drive for excellence
