WHAT WE'VE GOT GOING ON The Employee Experience (EX) Program Manager (CSG) will focus exclusively on the CSG employee experience at Looker. Looker is an amazing company, and we want CSG to elevate that experience for every employee. The new Employee Experience is just as critical as the role each individual has inside CSG, and this new role will explore ways, and ensure, we can make that happen.
WHAT WE NEED YOU TO DO
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) including knowing and/or researching current best practice for business communication styles
- Preferred: Strong project management skills, including 1+ years of project management experience including strong attention to detail and the ability to implement flawlessly
- Experience with heavy calendar management, event planning and managing itineraries in different timezones. Tech preferred
- Stellar collaboration skills and follow-through – this role touches every part of Looker, so positive collaboration and the ability to build trust is a must. Being a “Gate Opener” rather than a “Gate Keeper”
- Proven experience in confidentiality is a must
- Computer: Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet management, and proficient in using a Mac computer. Experienced with Google applications and A/V equipment a must
WHAT YOU BRING TO LOOKER
- Employee Communications (CSG)
- Responsible for collating and distributing the regular CSG communications (could be a newsletter, podcasts, videos, slack and email)
- Gathering content from each of the CSG functional owners around major initiatives as well as progress on various programs. Report on the progress and opportunities to be involved.
- Capturing the fun aspects of working inside CSG at Looker
- Capture meaningful stories that impact CSG’ers.
- Look for ways to include engaging elements (including handwritten notes from peers/leaders and special events, etc.
Reward & Recognition (CSG) - Responsible for our CSG Quarterly and Annual awards programs.
- Communicating the awards window for nominations (either CSG all or managers)
- Creating a nomination process
- Gathering input
- Seeking final selections from CSG leadership
- Arranging physical and digital awards
- Creation of presentation content for award announcements
- Distribution of awards
Events (CSG) - Assist with many of the CSG events throughout the year.
- Be heavily involved with the annual Customer Success Summit planning and delivery (February 2020).
- Help to design and deliver virtual events to connect widely dispersed teams.
- Recommending and assisting with the building and delivery of video and graphic-based content for major events (coordinating with Video/Graphic resources inside CSG).
On-Boarding (CSG) - Help to ensure new CSG Lookers are On-boarded successfully
- Design a unique onboarding experience for CSG Lookers to work in conjunction with both corporate and department onboarding programs
- Design different flavors of onboarding based on scenarios like “new to Looker”, “new to CSG” or “new to role”
- Work with NHO program to retool the CSG component of the event (including pre-boarding with the new KT Hub and onsite NHO content).
Any functions that can positively impact the CSG employee experience is to be explored and discussed. CSG wants to lead Looker as a function that is diverse, welcoming and willing to explore ways to create an incredible and engaging experience at work.
