Job Summary

Roblox China is looking for a passionate Developer Relations Manager to engage, educate and nurture our young developer ecosystem. You will establish strong relationships with developers in China in a scalable way by coordinating resources to help developers build experiences with Roblox. You will foster local developer communities, plan for events and programs to educate and inspire developers, champion their interests, and translate their feedback into actionable product insights.

You must have an innate ability to recognize standout developers with the skills and resources to create great content on Roblox.

This is a community management oriented role within the Developer Relations team, but a passion for learning coding skills and technologies will serve you well. You are eager to be on the frontlines, leading the development community into the next revolution in 3D experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years experience in related fields (technology, interactive entertainment, enterprise application development) managing partner relationships, community development, or developer evangelism/relations
• Demonstrated success in building an ecosystems
• Detail-oriented: capable of managing complexity with many demand channels
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate as a member of a team and work toward team goals
• Native Chinese, Fluency in English
• Experience working in the Games industry is a bonus

You Will:

• Identify, curate and cultivate key developer relationships
• Scale, extend and drive expansion of developer community-focused programs
• Drive developer advocacy and provide support to the community through creating local user groups, organize meetups, blog posts, presentations, product demos, etc.
• Participate in and help to facilitate Roblox China’s engagement in developer industry events, meetups, hackathons
• Maintain a strong and credible presence in social media channels relevant to developers
• Advocate for developers’ needs internally within the company to improve our overall developer platform
• Monitor developer satisfaction and drive the resolution of critical developer issues
• Hack on new and unique ways to grow and better engage our developer community
