ABOUT THE ROLE: As a Group Product Manager for Strategic Partnerships, you will oversee the product strategy that will ultimately define partner success, produce qualitative and quantitative analysis of partner and product impact, explore new strategic opportunities, and build technical solutions that drive traffic globally. Your mission will be to enable Udemy to reach, convert, & retain existing and potential users profitably and at scale through partnerships. Success requires a tight and forward-looking relationship with engineering, multiple data science, marketing, and business development stakeholders. We are seeking a combination of strong vision, strategic leverage, team leadership, and high-velocity execution.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

    • Lead the product strategy, prioritization, and execution for new and existing partnerships
    • Maintain direct and active relationships with partners, including proactively resolving business, technical, and policy issues
    • Enable partner deal support, cross functional planning, relationship management, and analytical insights
    • Develop strategies and business plans with partners and execute against metrics and milestones to drive user growth and revenue
    • Build an in-depth understanding of our B2B and B2C customers, internal users, integrations, systems, API’s, marketing tools, and channels
    • Drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver successful products and/or features

We’re excited about you because you have:

    • BA / BS required, ideally in a technical field
    • 5+ years of product management experience in building and shipping products
    • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and collaborate with all levels of management internally and externally to strengthen partnerships and maximize benefit for Udemy and its partners
    • Communicate performance to marketing team leadership and other stakeholders to promote a shared understanding of performance marketing strategy, ROI, and opportunities
    • You have great attention to detail but base your strategy on the big picture objectives
    • You understand how technology can solve customer problems and can engage in the details with the engineering team to find simpler solutions
    • Knowledge of agile development methodologies and tools
    • An intuitive understanding of the differences between traditional software and data product development cycles
    • Passion about the education space and the problems we are solving
    • Minimum of 2+years experience leading product talent
    • Comfortable collaborating with local and remote Product and Engineering teams (Ireland and Turkey)

Nice to haves:

    • Experience with delivering products for two-sided marketplaces/platforms
    • Experience with SQL for pulling and analyzing data
