Job Description
Quizlet’s mission is to help students (and their teachers) practice and master whatever they are learning. Every month more than 50 million active learners from 130 countries practice and master more than 300 million study sets on every conceivable topic and subject. We are developing new learning experiences by modeling how students learn and drawing upon knowledge acquisition, retention, and pedagogy in cognitive science. As a PM on the growth team leading reengagement efforts, you are responsible for driving users to come back to Quizlet on a routine basis through our product and other messaging touchpoints. Quizlet is a leading company in consumer learning technology with proven traction and huge growth ahead. Our business model is robust with two strong revenue streams — advertisements and paid subscriptions. Our ads business allows us to offer amazing study tools to millions of students around the globe for free. Our premium subscriptions give students and teachers the ability to create custom content and access learning analytics tools. What you'll do
- You will be responsible for building out our reengagement product across lifecycle, community & gamification
- You will partner with our product marketing team to drive strategy, product roadmap and business results
- You'll grow repeat traffic to Quizlet both in the U.S. and internationally
- You will be involved in every step of the product development process.
- From deeply understanding students & teachers, analyzing metrics and building a roadmap, to working with engineers, designers and other product managers to revolutionize the learning experience for our users around the world.
- You’ll sweat the details and deeply understand the systems you own - from key metrics to integration intricacies.
- You will bring a passion for building world-class products and will be excited to thrive and take ownership in a small startup environment.
We would love to hear from you if
- You have 1-3+ years of PM experience, working primarily in large-scale consumer web products
- You have demonstrated success in accelerating user growth.
- You have excellent analytical skills with a “test and learn” mindset.
- You are comfortable working on a cross-functional team in a fast-paced startup environment with imperfect information and limited resources
- You are a high integrity individual who is enthusiastic about building a great company for the long term, and making a huge, positive impact in the world and on education.
- You have strong leadership qualities with a proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
- You have at least a Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance.
- Ideally, you have experience working with (or the desire to deeply learn) marketing & communication (email, SMS, push) systems
