Mobile Service Advisor

The Role

Tesla is looking for an experienced Mobile Service Advisor to work on one of the most progressive vehicle brands in the world. This position requires a significant amount of customer interaction, so the ideal candidate will not only possess the customer service acumen, but also the ability to provide a basic level of technical support service. This position is located at our local Service center however the role will require travel as needed and directed by management.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule all trips for the Mobile Technician Team from A-Z, including travel plans and shipping parts.
  • Responsible for answering phone calls and emails to address any customer concern with the highest level of response and attention.
  • Receive stock, pick, ship and transact materials inventory to support the needs of vehicle service.
  • Determine if technical solution can be provided over the phone or needs to be escalated immediately to Mobile Technician / (Mobile) Service Manager to provide immediate attention.
  • Establish Parts system, label materials with Reference numbers for correct identification.
  • Accurately record parts transactions and data into the Dealer Management System – attention to detail is critical, escalate any issues that need to be addressed to correct any inbound packaging. Escalate important issues from our internal and external suppliers.
  • Communicate estimated parts ship and arrival time, including regular updates.
  • Maintain records of time, expenses, and material and warranty duties.
  • Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines.
  • Conduct Transactions with payment system; explain customer about repair and provide summary of repair
  • Follow up with customer on services provided; ensure they are satisfied with the work performed.
  • Maintain and perform top-level professional integrity and appearance as a Mobile Advisor.

Requirements

  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work to include the public.
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines.
  • Resourceful in finding the best solution to any challenge.
  • Willingness to learn new and innovative automotive technologies.
  • Knowledge of Outlook, and MS Office and ability to quickly adopt working with our Dealer Management System(s).
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and insurable.
  • High School diploma or the equivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability.
  • Retail, Automotive Service or Hospitality experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools and materials used in the maintenance and repair of vehicles.
  • Knowledge of automotive techniques related to repair and servicing of automobiles.
