Internships are available starting Summer (May/June) 2020. This is a paid internship. Our office is located in downtown Birmingham, AL.

Your Responsibilities

• Learn new technologies and processes. Solve interesting problems using them.
• Create solutions that impact our members, shoppers, partners and other team members.
• Participate in the design process to build efficient, scalable, and maintainable architecture
• Analyze metrics to drive implementation decisions
• Design, improve and document processes

Requirements

• Minimum 3.2 GPA
• Study in a Computer Science or other technology related field
• You love solving problems with technology
• Familiarity with at least one scripting language
• You love learning and mastering new skills
• You communicate about complex ideas simply and concisely

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Ruby/Rails, Golang, Angular and/or React
• Relational database technology experience
• Experience with payment processor or other finance related software
• Experience with non-relational data storage
• AWS experience
