Job Description

Account Manager for high growth account where Merkle serves as a strategic partner within a positive, long term client partnership. Join a high performing team that runs on all cylinders, has fun and needs a strong independent performer, with solid account management experience in health care product marketing.

The Account Manager plays a pivotal role in maintaining client success by providing exceptional service and value to our clients. A successful Merkle account manager is flexible, well organized, and can work with multiple project stakeholders. The account manager needs to have a client centric and collaborative approach to getting things done.

Key Responsibilities

· Responsible for daily client management and communication including but not limited to: developing status reports, leading client status meeting, and managing client expectations.

· Responsible for daily cross functional team management including but not limited to: ensuring appropriate resources are assigned to the project in a timely manner; communicating project plans to all team members; managing internal status meetings

· Contribute to executive presentations and other important decks for our client

· Serve as final QA on creative and be able to dictate client priorities down to the team

· Responsible for managing external partners who may be contributing to our client projects

· Project management including but not limited to: project plan development; resource assignment; hours and financial reporting; project management and, monitoring; on-time and on budget delivery; flawless execution

· Risk management and solutioning

· Review and approve weekly results reporting

· Client budget management for smaller project

Qualifications

· Four year degree

· 3-5 years of project management experience (ideally in direct response channels)

· CRM Experience, Specifically managing email, direct mail and paid social campaigns

· Creative agency experience desired

· Proficiency in Excel

· Effective conflict management skills

· Strong presentation and client facing skills

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Candidate must be open to travel as needed (minimal)
