We are seeking an exceptional candidate for a Scientist II position (full-time or part-time) in the laboratory of Dr. Jean J. Zhao at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in the Department of Cancer Biology. Responsibilities

This position will focus on the study of Overgrowth Syndrome, a rare childhood genetic disorder, caused by dysregulated PI3K/PTEN pathway.

Qualifications

• PhD with 5+ years postdoctoral research experience
• Established expertise in cancer biology reflected by a track record of high-impact publications
• Effective collaborator and communicator
• Experienced with cell culture and gene manipulation techniques
• Experience with mammalian cell line systems and genetically engineered mouse models is a strong plus
• Comfortable working independently
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, including presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills for working in a team environment
