Manager, HEOR

We seek applicants for a Manager role within our Health Economics Outcomes Research (HEOR) practice area. This role will focus on leadership of ZS’ services in Health Economics (HE) in our Boston, MA office.

Responsibilities:

Managers have immediate responsibility for enhancing ZS offerings, are instrumental members of the project leadership who are in client facing roles and assumes responsibility of quality, effectiveness and efficiency of project execution and delivery. In this role, you will:

• Support and shape the global HE strategy and capability development for both ZS and our clients, across therapeutic areas
• Work closely with ZS client teams to lead client business development and client relationship development across our key client accounts.
• Support the growth of HE modelling service line, increase awareness of ZS capabilities in HE modeling, and inform our clients’ perception of the ZS value proposition in HE modeling
• Consistently deliver quality client services and drive high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget
• Synthesize findings, develop recommendations and communicate results to clients and internal teams
• Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment.
• Play an active role in coaching and mentoring junior team members within Global HEOR team.

Qualifications :

• Graduate degree in Engineering, Life Sciences or Business or equivalent
• PhD, MD, PharmD or MPH preferred
• Masters plus 8 years or Doctorate plus 6 years of directly relevant experience in a similar industry / consulting environment
• Demonstrated experience with Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) with a particular emphasis on health economic modeling
• Ability to lead and manage teams to execute global projects
• Extensive practical experience in leading implementation of cost-effectiveness and budget impact analyses for key markets and leading health technology assessment (HTA) agencies
• Strong understanding of and experience with statistical methods underlying health economic models
• Experience in the conduct of systematic literature reviews, meta-analyses, and database analyses
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Expertise in communicating HE findings in various forms of communication, including peer-reviewed publication, abstracts and conference presentations, AMCP dossiers, and global value dossiers (the latter two for which we only expect the ability to integrate HE findings within these larger efforts)
