Coordinates activities of staff, convention personnel, or clients to make arrangements for group meetings, events, or conventions.
Responsibilities
- Reviews event bills for accuracy and approves payment
- Manages third-party relationships as necessary
- Provides onsite event management as required
- Coordinates services for events, such as accommodation and transportation for participants, facilities, catering, signage, displays, special needs requirements, printing, and event security
- Strategically aligns with internal business partners to determine objectives and requirements for events, such as meetings, conferences, and conventions
- Arranges the availability of audio-visual equipment, transportation, displays, and other event needs
Minimum Qualifications
At a minimum, here's what we need from you:
- Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts, Sciences, Business, Technology, Computer Science, or related quantitative field
- 4+ years of experience in Sales, Relationship Management, Marketing Associate, Project Management, Communications, Business, Event Marketing, Sponsorship Marketing, Hospitality, or related field
- In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of experience in Sales, Relationship Management, Marketing Associate, Project Management, Communications, Business, Event Marketing, Sponsorship Marketing, Hospitality, or related field
Preferred Qualifications

- 6+ years of experience in Sales, Relationship Management, Marketing Associate, Project Management, Communications, Business, Event Marketing, Sponsorship Marketing, Hospitality, or related field
- Project management of Tier 3 event process. Responsible for the strategic evaluation of the current process, provide recommendations and improvements, work with business partners to implement the new strategy and manage the process with continual evaluation of success
- Develop an ROI/ROO strategy and reporting process for Tier three events, strategically aligning with current processes and process improvements.
- Manage budget for Tier 3 event portfolio and update budget tracker as appropriate
- Develop strong relationships with internal and external business partners including third party vendors
- Manage a portion of Tier 2 event portfolio, implement best practices and strategically evaluate ROI/ROO measurements, aligning with the team
- Support Tier 1 events as needed
