Our Exciting Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Manager of Business Planning to join the Market Area North America (MANA) Strategy & Planning team. In this role you will acquire a 360-view on MANA’s business in the long term including key opportunities and risks; you will work with stakeholders across all Account Teams plus the Solution and Delivery organizations; you will prepare analyses for consumption by the MANA Leadership Team and global stakeholders to aid strategic decision-making; and you will work with a tight-knit team in a stimulating setting modelled on management consulting. You will have the opportunity to build skills needed to further your career in e.g., Business Operations, Business Development, Special Projects and Consulting. Longer term, there are managerial career opportunities with Ericsson globally for high performers.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Perform analysis of Market Area North America (MANA) business plan from an Account Team, Solution and Delivery team and overall MANA perspective
  • Collaborate with Soluitons and Delivery org and Account team business planning leads, and Finance, in development of MANA business plan
  • Secure data collection and data integrity across contributing sources and formats. Consolidate master data set
  • Develop and maintain key analyses; regularly refresh key views on the MANA business plan
  • Analyze multi-dimensional scenarios of industry development and derive implications for Ericsson
  • Produce crisp and compelling charts, decks and documents to package deliverables and communicate insights
  • Support planning and orchestration of the MANA Business Planning process and related activities
  • Support change management across MANA in the Business Planning context, e.g., defining, implementing and rolling out changes in tools and processes
  • Participate in Special Projects teams as Senior Business Analyst, addressing a variety of strategic topics outside Business Planning. Translate open-ended problems into structured analyses (quantitative or qualitative). Collect required input data across multiple sources, e.g., internal systems, external reports, interviews. Perform analyses. Synthesize findings to conclusions and recommendations

We believe a successful candidate should have:

  • 2-4 years performance track-record at a top-tier management consulting firm or similar function, or in business operations
  • Solid analytic ability incl. structuring and maintaining financial models and performing advanced Excel analysis
  • Excellent problem-solving skills including problem structuring, solutioning, making recommendations
  • Outstanding communication skills, oral and written (.ppt and .doc)
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and produce distinctive deliverables
  • Experience in driving change management projects
  • Excellent academic background with a master’s degree or similar in business and/or engineering
  • Preferably, experience serving Ericsson’s executive management in a formal consulting capacity
