We are now looking for a Customer Solutions Manager to support the KAM organization with product and solution expertise on different levels in pre-sales, design, and delivery of customer projects. The candidate will be responsible for the solution management for specific areas across the entire Ericsson IT portfolio across OSS & BSS, including working with ecosystem partners for IT, establishing long term business growth through lead management, and ongoing customer relationship on a daily basis. Position Ericsson as a thought and technology leader. Secure that customer feedback is shared with R&D organization.

The Opportunity:

  • You will position Ericsson as technology leader, communicate and discuss Ericsson’s technology strategy and vision with customer CTO/CIO, Planning and Product organizations
  • Responsibility spanning areas across the extended OSS/BSS and IT solutions including OSS areas such as Orchestration/cloud management, Analytics, Assurance, Inventory etc. and BSS and enablement (Charging, Billing, Catalog and Order Management, Service enablement), third-party partner and ecosystem products, and the associated services
  • Thought leadership in the areas of OSS/BSS evolution towards 5G, virtualization including distributed cloud and container management/orchestration, and OSS/BSS transformation with respect to open source & ONAP.
  • Build strong relationships with Ericsson account management teams, key customer decision makers and influencers, Ericsson business units, third party partners, and other key stakeholders
  • Drive the technical sales process and lead the designing of comprehensive and complex technical solutions addressing customer needs for OSS/BSS and related technologies.
  • Provide sales support expertise, conducts in-depth technical discussions with customer
  • Provide sales support for specific deals, propose solutions covering business requirements and present to Regions and Customer
  • Maintain knowledge of the OSS and BSS products and solution offerings.
  • Maintain knowledge of key competitor’s product line and future direction.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing, ensure the customer vision & strategy including implications on Ericsson’s technology and solutions is communicated to the ones in need at Business Units, Group Function and Ericsson Research.

You Have:

  • Education: Bachelor of Business Administration, Science or similar
  • Substantial in-field experience from sales/solutions at Ericsson or equivalent
  • Broad end to end view of across OSS and BSS technologies and ecosystems including associated technologies such as service assurance/analytics, SD-WAN, SDN/NFV and cloud infrastructure, service orchestration & OSS automation, mediation, billing & charging, IoT and service exposure.
  • You should be very familiar with industry standards and open source such as ETSI, ONAP, TMF, MEF, 3GPP and others.
  • Familiarity and working knowledge of 4G/5G core and RAN concepts is a plus.
  • Experience from working in the field with customers
  • Broad end to end view of across OSS and BSS technologies and ecosystems including associated technologies such as service assurance/analytics, SD-WAN, SDN/NFV and cloud infrastructure, service orchestration & OSS automation, mediation, billing & charging, IoT and service exposure. You should be very familiar with industry standards and open source such as ETSI, ONAP, TMF, MEF, 3GPP and others.
  • Familiarity and working knowledge of 4G/5G core and RAN concepts is a plus.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills are a must
  • Proactive, self-motivated, organized and structured, with a good grasp of key business drivers
