Tax Manager, AMR

Job Description

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists Senior Director, Tax to administer worldwide tax operations
• Manage consolidated income tax provision and footnotes in accordance to ASC 740 principles. Duty includes but not limited to accounting for stock-based compensation, uncertain tax positions, technical research and writing
• Manage co-source arrangement with external consultants re U.S. federal and state income tax return compliance. Manage outsource arrangements in other countries
• Manage indirect tax compliance (U.S. and non U.S.) with external consultants
• Manage income and non-income tax audits
• Manage SOX compliance
• Manage country-by-country reporting and other cross border projects
• Assist in tax planning related to mergers & acquisitions and business operations

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of progressive corporate tax experience in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and industry
• Must have solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles especially ASC 740

• CPA

• BA/BS in Business/Accounting or equivalent

• A self-starter with strong knowledge in U.S. and non U.S. taxation. Experience with multi-national tax operations preferred
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Team player with effective supervisory skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
• Proficiency with RIA Checkpoint, BNA, Go System, Oracle, Hyperion, One Stream, Microsoft Word and Excel
