Role Value Proposition:

Provides exceptional customer service while investigating, evaluating and resolving 3rd party commercial general liability and casualty auto claims guiding the customer through the claims process and putting them at the center of all decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interviews insureds, claimants and other parties to determine the facts of the claim.
• Reviews factual information to determine coverage and/or liability of all parties to the claim and manages pending claims to meet company quality criteria as well as state regulations.
• Determines value of the claim, negotiates with claimants and/or attorneys moving claims to closure.
• Attends mediations or trials as necessary. Performs other related duties as assigned or required.

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills :

Required Qualifications:

• Prior casualty claims experience with strong investigative, evaluation and negotiation skills.
• Prior commercial general liability and commercial casualty auto experience.
• Minimum 5 yrs. business related experience.
• Candidate is expected to obtain required state licenses after hired.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience.
• Prior litigation experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented and ability make independent decisions.
