Interviewing and assessing engineering talent tends to be noisy, but our technical assessment has proven to be good enough to extract meaningful signals. We collect data on interview results and in-house evaluations, which gives us a unique dataset to play with. We've used that data to deliver a 40% conversion rate on our candidates at interview to offer, compared to the industry standard 20%. We're an experienced team , the founders have each built and sold companies before. Ammon and Guillaume founded Socialcam ( acquired by Autodesk for $60 million ) and Harj was the first partner hired at Y Combinator since its founding. Triplebyte has expanded their product offerings to include subscription agreements in addition to our legacy transactional business model. The Sales Operations Manager will report directly to and work closely with the Head of Business Operations and will be responsible for developing efficiency sales processes through Salesforce and other third party tools. The goal of the Sales Operations Manager is to create efficiency in the business team and ensure goals are set, progress is transparently shared up and down the organization and objectives are ultimately achieved by sales and customer success.

Role Responsibilities

    • Run budgeting, KPI setting, performance review and operations planning processes for CSM/Talent Management teams
    • Develop and maintain account allocation process to the CSM team, including account segmentation and territories
    • Administrate and maintain Salesforce, including building and project managing new features and integrations with Salesforce
    • Improve and support CSM QBR processes, including providing data, formatting and objectives for QBRs
    • Develop and maintain Forecasting processes focused on accuracy and facilitate management in achieving quarterly sales, hires and renewal goals
    • Maintain for the business team all third-party software licenses and negotiate annual contracts, when appropriate
    • Provide and conduct new employee training as related to systems and processes of the business teams
    • Work with product and marketing to ensure communications to existing customers are delivered with appropriate content, to the appropriate individuals, and consistent
    • Work with finance to maintain commission plans. Work with finance and leadership to develop new commission structures and compensation plans as necessary
    • Review and maintain all agreements, including reviewing redlines and working with outside council to incorporate new language as needed by the business
    • Run and maintain sales-side of overdue Accounts Receivable process

What You Need to be Successful

    • 2+ years of experience working in operations either on the sales or marketing side of a SaaS business
    • 2+ years of experience with Salesforce as an administrator, including building custom fields, complex formulas, building new objects and maintaining security. Modest experience developing in APEX is preferred
    • 1+ years of experience working in sales, account management or sales development is preferred
    • Experience owning recommendations and working with executives to communicate and drive decision making
    • Experience with compensation planning
    • Experience negotiating and working with vendors, including Salesforce and third-party Salesforce consultants
    • Experience working with or in Enterprise-sales organizations and supporting CSM or AM teams in navigating renewals, up-sells and customer happiness
    • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success / Account Management, Marketing and Product
    • Experience with Docusign, Quip, Mixmax, Chartio, Marketo, Heroku Connect, Slack (including bots) and their integrations with Salesforce is preferred
    • Exposure to Recruitment Tech or the recruitment industry is a plus
    • Experience with SQL and querying production databases is a plus
