Develop and implement Thinkful’s digital marketing campaigns to support the continued growth of Thinkful’s programs. As a SeniorDigital Marketing Manager, you will set and improve upon our current digital marketing strategy in paid social channels while executing within new areas and campaigns to drive lead and enrollment volume.Specifically, you will own the strategy for all paid social channels, focusing on improving ROI on Facebook and other channels. While working on improving returns in current channels, you will also focus on reaching new audiences by expanding into new channels. You will create playbooks and launch strategies for several new areas of paid digital focus, reporting on and being responsible for each channels’ lead and enrollment volume, conversion rates, and cost pers. The ideal candidate has managed large-budget ROI-positive paid media campaigns, is proficient with Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn advertising. You will have also used data to set and iterate on strategy and be extremely comfortable with tactical campaign development including targeting and ad copy creation, audience segmentation, bid and landing page optimizations, and budget allocation. You must be highly data-driven and comfortable justifying your decisions quantitatively.Within 1 month, you will:
  • Meet 1:1 with all members and agencies within the growth marketing and brand teams
  • Manage the relationship with our digital agency and begin management of other team members
  • Begin optimizing bid, copy, and budget allocation for current channels
  • Build a cohesive, ROI driven strategy for Thinkful’s current paid social advertising programs
  • Gain knowledge of the competitive landscape
  • Take part in team planning and retrospective meetings
  • Spend time getting to know your remote peers over video calls
Within 3 months, you will:
  • Build a cohesive, strategy for new paid advertising programs, with a focus on lead and enrollment generation
  • Create a testing roadmap to be used across channels, incorporating bid, budget, landing page, creative, and other tests
  • Use data and metrics to report on the results of growth efforts and use what is learned to adjust and plan future work
  • Report on top level performance across all channels
  • Manage competing priorities while focusing on value delivery
  • Receive regular performance feedback from your manager and peers
  • Develop a career growth plan and goals with your manager
Within 6-12 months, you will:
  • Deliver an optimized go-to-market strategy to use as a baseline for all new program launches. While this baseline should be used for all launches, there should be unique features to specific launches based on the program type
  • Have strategic growth processes down to a science for common occurrences like testing new channels or growing into current ones
  • Standardize and document operating procedures
  • Invest in additional hires to own or contribute to areas that need support
  • Invest in a culture of accountability by holding yourself and your peers to high standards
  • Meet your peers face-to-face at "Weekful", our annual all-company retreat
Requirements
  • 5+ years managing paid social campaigns, specifically budgeting and campaign optimizations
  • Experience using Facebook Ads Manager
  • Proven ability to prioritize competing demands
  • Knowledge of web analytics, social analytics & techniques
  • Strong QA abilities with an eye for detail
