People Experience Partner Lead (Contract)

We’re looking for an Employee Relations Lead who will help support the day-to-day needs of amazing employees on our Global Sales teams. This is not your typical Employee Relations role. You'll be a steward of Pinterest’s culture, leveraging insights from your work to identify trends and be empowered to create proactive solutions to address them. This is a 6-month, full-time role with the possibility of extension at the end of the contract.

What you’ll do :
  • Be a trusted advisor to employees and managers providing coaching and support to help them deliver their best work every day
  • Keep your finger on the pulse of the organization, supporting employees through hardship, and influencing managers to enact changes that preserve what’s unique about our culture while helping us evolve to support the needs of Pinners
  • Partner with a variety of stakeholders (HR Business Partners, Legal, Leadership, etc.) to provide counsel and facilitate prompt, fair, and effective resolution of workplace concerns to help deliver a positive employee experience
  • Analyze people experience trends and partner with internal stakeholders to develop proactive strategies, solutions, programs, and policies
  • Owns the exit process end-to-end for all voluntary terminations, including exit interviews
  • Effectively manage both proactive and reactive people experience cases from initial stages through resolution
  • Assist with People Experience projects and initiatives including, but not limited to, New Employee Orientation, general HR support work, and program/project management support
What we’re looking for :
  • 5+ years of HR Generalist or Employee Relations experience
  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle Employee Relations matters in an urgent and confidential manner
  • Ability to operate independently and demonstrate strong decision making. Knows when to escalate issues and seek appropriate support
  • Knowledge of employment laws and best practices to manage legal risk
