Role Overview
Finance leader for the Bohemia and Harnessing Lighting entities. Leads the finance team in overseeing general accounting processes, financial reporting, management reporting and local financial planning and analysis. Develops and maintains accounting principles and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements and compliance with all corporate policies and controls.

Primary Responsibilities:

·Leads the development of key elements of financial plans, including cost reductions, budget and policy recommendations and planning activities

·Manages general ledger preparation, general and cost accounting activities, to assure timely completion and accuracy of accounting activities.

·Develops and maintains policies procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements.

·Leads a team of accountants, and manages large-scale projects and activities for a medium-sized organization

·Advises senior management on financial matters and on the potential impact on the operations of the organization. Ensures compliance of accounting policies, procedures and controls for all the projects and financial statements.

·Oversees the preparation and presentation of management reports and / or corporate reporting requirements, to ensure integrity of information and keep management updated on key information.

·Monitors budget and forecast activity in order to track the organization’s budgets and ensure that budgets are maintained.

·Manages the organization’s finance activities to support the business plans of the organization, including pricing, revenue recognition and cost modeling.

·Evaluates and recommends strategy for financial and/or budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency.

·Develops controls for the organization’s financial activities to ensure they are conducted accurately, ethically, consistently and according to relevant policies, procedures, regulations, laws, and standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in aerospace and / or manufacturing environment
• Experience leading a team of accounting / finance professionals
• Experience with HFM
• Public Accounting Experience

Basic Qualifications:
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 8 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 5 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience is required.
