The Research Informatics for Operations (RIO) team is looking for a Senior Clinical Data Analyst to be responsible for the analytic work required to successfully integrate clinical and other data from Partners (PHS) and Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH) systems into the DFCI enterprise data warehouse (DFCI EDW). This data analyst will also work with research data analysts, research leadership and the EDW team to integrate PHS/BCH data sources with other DFCI data, including structured and unstructured data; and collaborate with the Informatics staff to develop improved access to and sharing of PHS/BCH data through the Oncology Data Retrieval System (OncDRS) and the DFDW.
The Senior Clinical Data Analyst will be responsible for identification, analysis, requirements development, profiling, standardization, quality assurance and documentation of the PHS and BCH data in the DFCI EDW. In this capacity, the incumbent will report to the Director of Research Data Services and work closely with EDW team to identify and analyze potential data assets and integrate these assets into the DFCI EDW. The incumbent will be expected to manage this process with minimal guidance, from specification gathering through deployment, including liaising and coordinating with external groups, producing detailed project plans, specifying underlying data components, and working alongside the existing Informatics technical and operational teams to ensure seamless integration and implementation within the existing Informatics workflows.
