Corporate Investment Bank, Operations, 2020 ReEntry Program

The ReEntry Program is a 14-week fellowship program, beginning March 16, 2020 and ending June 19, 2020, with the prospect of an offer for permanent employment with JP Morgan Chase at the end of the program. The program offers a reintroduction to corporate life for those returning to the workplace after two or more years voluntarily being away. The fellowship placements will be based on both business needs and candidate skill set and interest areas within our Operations business.

Banking Operations is organized in conjunction with the Distributed Operating Model servicing its core functions around the globe. Global Market Infrastructures ("GMI")- faces off with local market participants (cash correspondents, sub-custodians, market infrastructures, central banks), regulators, industry associations, and J.P. Morgan clients across all lines of business. GMI provides support to internal and external clients across the Firm and works with a wide range of business partners including Risk, Compliance, Legal, Marketing, Client Service, Government Relations, and Global Tax Services. GMI includes four functions that consist of over 100 employees located in New York, London, Bournemouth, Hong Kong, Singapore, Paris, Tokyo, and Copenhagen. These functions include: - Markets and Infrastructure Management - Network Service Management - Network Client Consulting - Information Management and Delivery Investor Services Operations- is comprised of over 8,000 employees worldwide supporting the following areas: - Global Custody Securities Processing - Global Fund Services - Hedge Fund Services - Private Equity and Real Estate Services - Global Asset Servicing - Trading Services - Global Utilities Markets, Derivative, and Branch Operations- with a team of over 10,000 employees globally, Markets, Derivative, and Branch Operations deliver best- in-class markets trading operations and derivatives processing across all asset classes (equities, fixed income, currency, and commodities) through a client-focused, technology- enabled, and risk control oriented business environment. Our external clients include Asset Managers, Pension & Life Funds, Government Funds, Hedge Funds, Broker Dealers, Global Custodians, Agent Banks, Retail clients, and other Financial Institutions. We also partner with various functions across the CIB including Technology, Client Service, Product, and Platform. We also have opportunities in CIB Business Architecture and Transformation which is a dedicated team of project and client facing resources focused on large scale change initiatives to address Industry, Client, and Business requirements across the Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB). What We Look For: This unique 14- week program offers Associates and above (or equivalent), who left the workforce and are looking to return to after 2+ years break, the support and resources needed to resume their careers. The ReEntry Program also provides you with opportunities for networking and mentorship. The ReEntry Program for Corporate and Investment Bank Operations is a 14-week fellowship program, beginning March, 2020 and ending June, 2020, with the prospect of an offer for permanent employment with JP Morgan Chase at the end of the program. The program offers a reintroduction to corporate life for those returning to the workplace after two or more years voluntarily being away. The fellowship placements will be based on both business needs and candidate skill set and interest areas within our Corporate and Investment Bank Operations. Ideal candidates for the program are creative and innovative team players with analytical, technical, problem solving, planning, and organizational skills. Individuals must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively in presentations, expressing complex financial strategies in an organized and articulate manner. The ability to relate well to external clients and internal partners and establishing strong working relationships is a crucial requirement of the program. Individuals with previous experience relevant to the businesses noted above are encouraged to apply.
