Intern, vCPP Project Manager

Location: Staines

Duration: 12 months - starting in the summer of 2020

The vCPP Northern Europe team at VMware is the Business Unit team having developed the largest customers/partner’s ecosystem across the region delivering cloud and hosting services thanks to VMware technologies.

To support our strong growth, we are looking for a very dynamic and proactive intern to support a specific set of sales-driven activities. The candidate must have a strong motivation in customer relationships, at ease with creating reports / dashboards, data analysis, and able to work with various VMware international team members. In addition, the candidate must be able to learn, document and articulate policies and processes pertaining to program rules and operations.

Responsibilities:

• Key UKI focus person for supporting the VMware sales team for specific initiatives, acting as a VMware “inside sale” and reference
• Contribution to the ecosystem management through business modelling, marketing planning and commercial animation
• Daily interactions with the team and with partners to launch and follow up the initiatives ensuring success by expanding it from an initial set of partners to the global community
• Run, analyze business reports using tools in use at VMware

Position Requirements:

The high energy candidate should have a positive can-do approach. Practice attention to detail in all things, remain flexible and follow through in completing all tasks assigned. Be a strong communicator with proficiency in the Microsoft Office package and SFDC. Exact perimeter of the internship will depend on the candidate’s ability to learn and practice, as well as his/her motivation and skills.
