Texas Educator Certification Examination Scorer - Spanish Teachers

Are you a recently retired or part-time BTLPT or LOTE Spanish teacher? Do you live in the state of Texas? Do you have a passion for transforming lives through learning?

Pearson is seeking recently retired PK-12 teachers, higher education teacher educators, or part-time educators who possess a valid and current State of Texas teaching license, to work on our ongoing scoring projects as a Texas Educator Certification Scorer in our regional scoring facility located in San Antonio, Texas.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet all of the following:

• Have at least three years of experience teaching in a Bilingual or Language Other Than English (Spanish) classroom in the state of Texas
• Have taught Bilingual Target Language Proficiency Spanish or Languages Other Than English (Spanish) in the state of Texas within the past three years
• Available to Score M-F, during the daytime, in our Regional Scoring facility located in San Antonio, Texas

AND

Must meet one of the following:

• Be a PK–12 teacher who holds a valid and current teaching certificate in the state of Texas to teach in a Bilingual or Language other than English (Spanish) classroom
• Be an EPP faculty member of a program or teaching courses, approved by the state of Texas, that offers or that are for Bilingual or Languages Other Than English (Spanish) teacher certification programs
• Be an educator who has scored the Bilingual Target Language Proficiency Test (BTLPT) or Languages Other Than English (Spanish) exam within the past 3 years
