Johnson & Johnson is seeking a HR Business Technology Leader – Director based in New Brunswick, New Jersey who will work at the intersection of business & technology to define strategies that combine a deep understanding of business objectives with technology solutions to overcome challenges and embrace digital trends. In this role, you will own helping to shape the HR digital strategy and setting the strategic direction for the HR technology investment portfolio. Primarily focused on the people experience of our 140,000 employees and additionally our contractors, suppliers and alumni. Including our core functions, end to end global processes, corporate services, business unit services, and global shared service functions. Responsibilities would focus on:
The Solution Lead works with business and technology stakeholders to identify business priorities and product needs. They lead cross-functional teams to drive solutions and conducts experiments to test solution RWE. They engage necessary and appropriate resources across product lines and shared services per solution blueprint and align IT capacity with top business priorities. They deliver projects aligned to the product line vision, goals and business value. They monitor the progress of program components to ensure overall goals, schedule, budget, and benefits of the program are achieved and ensure adherence to J&J processes and standards.

- Incubation & Solution Design: ensuring that product development efforts incorporate an approach that starts with experimentation with end users / prototyping to validate expected impact, includes human centered design, embraces agile principles & minimum viable product definition, incorporates external insights, required end to end process optimizations, and compliance engagement
- Value Realization: defining expected value impact of investments across employee experience, functional excellence, efficiency, and compliance
- Portfolio Management: lead rigorous, data driven portfolio prioritization efforts including portfolio management process design efforts to enable a human centered portfolio intake governance process
- Architecture: partnering with the HR architecture team to define the role each system plays within our landscape aligned with business capabilities
- Internal Partnerships & Leadership Alignment: acting as the primary trusted advisor to senior HR & technology leaders across all lifecycles of product development starting with inception through to value realization & ongoing continuous improvement, and communication of progress against strategic objectives
- Product Management: partnering with product management teams to ensure roadmaps are oriented to deliver HR business & technology strategy, value creation objectives, and measurable key performance indicators
- External Partnerships: managing vendor relationships to influence development roadmaps & ensure that our needs will be met by our technology partners
- Team Leadership: lead a team of digital, HR & People Experience technology strategy professionals across multiple domains
We believe that experience developing insight led strategy, crafting innovative technology solutions, experimentation, agile ways of working, intellectual curiosity, empathy, leading teams, and human centered design are essential to enable you to be successful in this role. Furthermore, it is essential that you are a natural collaborator, who has the leadership presence to influence results and build a strong sense of collective team engagement. We desire a candidate who has experience structuring & facilitating large workshops with senior stakeholders. In addition to these core skills, we would expect you to have the following technical expertise:

Reporting to the HR Global Business Technology Leader – Senior Director, you would participate on the HR business solutions & technology leadership team and partner closely with global process owners, global product owners, People Experience leaders, CIOs, and global product owners to maximize the transformational potential of technology investments.
10+ years preferred of relevant experience in managing technical and / or HR, Marketing, Communications teams; strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills; effective manager of people and strong team-building skills.
- Preferred: Master’s Degree with focus on Computer Science, Computer Engineering; MBA.
- 20 – 30% business travel expected
