Description

Our team is building an exciting financial technology product that exposes bank’s proprietary quantitative and technology infrastructure as part of the firm’s next generation digital offerings to select clients. This product will enable clients to generate greater revenue from their investment or trading activities and effectively manage exposure to various events in financial markets (i.e. trading and market risk management). The product consists of a set of fully hosted and managed services and is delivered via a comprehensive API and a rich frontend application. A modern platform requires modern tooling and disciplines, and we’re hiring DevOps engineers to make this a reality. You’ll have a key role in deploying these solutions to our clients in a scalable, automated way, and building the tools to make this a truly modern solution.

Key Responsibilities

• Automating the containerization and deployment of our services using Kubernetes
• Cloud migration of existing on-premises deployments
• Integrating best-of-breed tooling for monitoring, cloud automation and Kubernetes management
• Supporting our developers, engineers and clients in the deployment, use, and growth of our platform

Qualifications

• Strong technical background with experience with containers, Kubernetes, and cloud automation.
• Good Linux troubleshooting and deployment skills.
• Python development and knowledge of common modules for automation.
• Experience of scaling and performance improvements for infrastructure including databases.
• Ability to design and deploy fault tolerant and highly available services using cloud-first technologies where appropriate.
• Proactive and independent – able to take ownership of deliverables and solve real world business problems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
