Job Description
Description:Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) provides systems engineering, software development, training solutions and complex program management for global security, civil and commercial markets. The HR Manager will lead a team of geographically dispersed HR Business Partners and support the TLS E&T organization as well as the Software Engineering COE and the Advance Technology and Innovation team. This client group consists of approximately 2,000 employees engaged in engineering primarily in Orlando, Owego, Syracuse, Manassas, Moorestown and Ft Worth. The HR Manager will support the clients with its organizational strategy including leadership in change management, talent identification and movement, talent acquisition, diversity/inclusion, performance management, compensation and rewards programs, and Culture of Accountability.
Responsibilities include:
-Partner with HR Center of Excellence counterparts to ensure that the client organizations are fully supported and positioned to successfully execute its HR strategy.
-Lead a team of approximately 3 HR Business Partners (HRBPs). In addition the manager will need to support the teaming across E&T HR of direct reports and dotted line support to both TLS and the other LOB's.
-Ensuring that the HRBP team is fully engaged, successfully supporting their client groups, have the tools necessary to perform their roles, developing their HR skills and networks, receiving regular communication/ guidance/direction, and receiving ongoing performance feedback and coaching.
-Establish and execute the client HR strategy, exercise thought leadership, exercise good judgment, make difficult decisions, and guide his/her HRBP team to do the same. The Manager may also have a client group that they will be directly responsible for.
Travel for the position will vary but will be approximately 20%-35%. Other responsibilities may be assigned as required to support the organization.
Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with and strong knowledge of HR Practices, Policies, and Laws
-Prior HR Business Partner experience
-Demonstrated ability to effectively builds relationships
-Demonstrated strong influencing and decision making skills
-Demonstrated ability to build credibility with clients and subordinates
-Ability to Travel 25-50%
Desired Skills:
Prior leadership experience
Prior experience with E&T clients
Change Management experience
Experience working in a large matrixed organization
