Business analyst or software rule developer for integrated solutions using the CoBRRa/ARGenT suite of tools including general knowledge of the JIRA Testing Service and DROOLS and JBoss code base.

In this role, the Business Rules Consultant will work in a fast-paced environment that provides great personal rewards of accomplishment. The selected team member must be flexible and able to react to changing priorities as they will have responsibility to oversee and facilitate evaluation of business requirements, system analysis and integrated efforts for a targeted set of applications.

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Support SIT and UAT testing prior to delivery into production as well as follow up support of validation within production.
  • Acts as a liaison between Technology Operations Group, Vendor, Home Preservation Operations and testing by planning, conducting and directing analysis of moderately complex business problems to be solved with automated systems and process improvements.
  • Provides technical assistance and support in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements.
  • Analyzes data and prepares necessary reports or specifications for system changes.

This position will be located at our Wells Fargo site location in St. Louis Park, MN. This position is NOT ELIGIBLE for relocation assistance. Prospective candidates should reside in and/or around the target work location or be able to commute to either of these site for work.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: development and participation in large scale system development processes, business systems analysis, analysis of business processes or business rules management


Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of business rules management systems such as: Ilog, Jrules, Blaze, or Drools
  • Exposure to Wells Fargo CoBRRa (Collaborative Business Rules Repository Application)
  • Defect tracking tool experience
  • Experience with the installation, configuration and implementation or administration of Jboss Application Server
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, LiveMeeting and SharePoint) skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Access skills
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex technical problems
  • Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
  • Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations


Other Desired Qualifications
  • 1+ years Wells Fargo CoBRRa/ARGenT (Collaborative Business Rules Repository Application) experience
  • XSD, End To End, and Data Mapping experience
  • Current Services being supported are: CAMS, PCA, GEM, PTS, VPR, FTM, MCCS, FC Routing, Motion History, BK SUPA, DAP OPS, CAMO, Servicing Fees Rules Library
  • Familiar with Enterprise Technology tools to include: RF, Imaging, FileNet, JAVA, HTML, XML.
  • Experience implementing medium to complex, multi-faceted changes.
  • Experience in writing solution requirements, business rules design, testing and implement solutions defined by Credit Policy.
  • Experience in supporting and interacting with System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as well as production validation of technology systems.
