SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Workflow Consultant promotion of VISION24 Solutions will be critical in leading Leica Biosystems’ efforts to support the customer in their targets to efficiently head to provide patients a confident diagnosis within 24 hours from biopsy (VISION24) for all Pathology Solution Targets

The Workflow Consultant will support the PS projects team in the pre-sales phase to identify and evaluate sustainable clinical, operational improvements across the integrated end-to-end Cellular Pathology process. After each project, the Workflow Consultant will be responsible to synthesize findings and present the outputs to the customer – directly or via the local commercial teams - in an evidence based solutions format

VISION24 Solutions will be critical to helping us realize this vision and will lead our efforts to translate VISION24 into a customer-focused solution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Identify opportunities to improve quality, optimize efficiency, and integrate solutions across the entire cancer diagnosis and treatment pathway from a current state, designing a future and dream state based on evidence based outputs

• Clearly articulate the value of VISION24 Solutions in pre and post award scenarios.
• Partner with cross-functional VISION24 team (Marketing, Sales & R&D) to create concepts for tailored solutions of Leica Biosystems’ product and process-based improvements.

- Drive targeted, sustainable improvements that are tied to clinical, financial and operational performance outcomes by leveraging Lean / Six Sigma tools, consulting skills, and change management process.- Drive awareness and interest in integrating workflow processes between Leica Solutions and through Non equipment related improvement processes.

• Support process to identify, evaluate & measure impact of tailored Leica Biosystems’ solutions necessary to optimize processing, remove variation & standardize clinical best practices across the integrated end-to-end process.

- Establish trusted relationship between Leica Biosystems and Customer departments.- Collaborate with internal and external customers for the purpose of benchmarking performance and knowledge building of industry best practices to guide customers to their ideal integrated breast cancer diagnosis decisions. Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS

• Healthcare Background – Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Clinical / Healthcare environment, including a range of projects, with a proven track record of driving process improvements required.

• Process Improvement – Ability to champion Lean / Six Sigma principles and develop best practices across diverse healthcare & business environments.

• Technical Excellence – Must possess the technical skills necessary to be seen as credible by peers and managers inside healthcare facilities.

• Process Management – Demonstrated proficiency applying lean principles in a variety of situations. Understands how to separate and combine tasks into efficient workflow. Knows what to measure and how to measure it.

• Project Management – Ability to plan, organize and manage resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives.

• Communication – Communicates effectively at all levels of the organization. Promotes timely, ongoing flow of information to others. Communicates and listens effectively in order to develop and maintain key business relationships.
