CIB – EMEA Sales & Marketing - Equity Derivative Group / Structured Investments Distributor Marketing UK coverage team – Executive Director

Equity Derivatives Group and Structured Investments Distributor Marketing (SIDM) UK coverage team is a sales team charged with creating and distributing cross-asset Structured Investments via internal and external distribution channels to UK based clients. The team originates and distributes structured investments linked to equities, commodities, fixed income, currency, and hybrid underlying’s.

The position described below is part of the Sales and Marketing team within the UK coverage team, which is responsible for pricing, marketing and selling structured products to a broad range of clients including Private Banks, Discretionary Fund Managers and smaller wealth managers. In turn It is integrated into the SIDM global sales product stripe.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Manage and drive the distribution effort in the UK and working together with other Sales, Trading, Legal, and Operations
• Full understanding of the various issuance platforms and their benefits and requirements and look to streamline / enhance processes. Contribute to the global agenda.
• Price and structure transactions across asset classes to meet investor requirements. Proactively drive the business agenda to increase forward revenue budgets.
• Define and drive overall team’s business plan for distribution, liaising with other senior team members and ultimately reporting into the head of UK product sales

Experience Requirements

• Significant, demonstrable experience in a similar role, distributing structured product in the UK
• Possesses a series of deep client relationships that have been established over a number of years to leverage from
• Highly detailed understanding of the regulatory and compliance requirements for product sales across the UK and broader European markets
• Candidate would be expected to travel frequently to drive marketing agenda, but would likely also organize investor roundtables / seminar events and should have extensive previous experience in this space.
