The HPE Financial Services Enterprise Account Manager serves as the overall account lead (single point of contact) for set of dedicated large named accounts and understands a client’s key business, financial and IT challenges and requirements and is focused on driving value for the client, while maximizing sales and margin for the HPEFS.

As the HPEFS organization is going to focus on growth the role will require the self-conception of a hunter in sales with a relentless mind set to generate new business. The job focuses on selling to customers, typically through work that occurs outside the company offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Builds growth opportunities and pipeline using prospecting and the HPE/HPI account planning process.
  • Ongoing acquisition of new customers for HPEFS.
  • Identifies customer requirements, matches with HPEFS capabilities and builds high quality and compelling solutions.
  • Extensive time working with and leveraging external partners to scale and drive sales.
  • Significant percentage of time spent directly with customer; interfaces with all levels, including highest within customer organization; highly diverse set of functions and buyers; focus in on management level.
  • Maintains high-level of customer loyalty and builds trust and integrity
  • End to end opportunity management skills.
  • Understands pipeline management principles and enters all opportunities in SFDC and updates them weekly.
  • Responsible for achieving/managing quarterly, half yearly, annual quota and/or margin.

Education and Experience Required:

  • University or Bachelor's degree.
  • Detailed knowledge of key customer types and financial services.
  • Typically 8-12 years of advanced sales experience.
  • Financial services industry experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Is considered an expert in knowledge about IT investment solutions as well as competitor’s offerings combined with competitive selling skills.
  • Understands the industry and market segment in which key accounts are situated, and integrates this knowledge into solution selling.
  • Broad understanding of the customer's needs; applies standard as well as creative solutions to meet those needs; particularly considering the specific industry/market.
  • Ability to understand the customer's industry, business issues and translate to the company's solutions.
  • Has good leadership skills and cross functional expertise.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple internal and external partners on multiple levels to drive pipeline and sales.
  • High level communication and customer relationship building, working at management and executive level in lines of business.
  • Advanced sales negotiation and deal closing skills.
  • Must have good time management skills and ability to prioritize and drive strategic sales activity.
  • Expertise in managing end- to-end sales processes.
  • Business fluency in English and German language.
