Technical Trainer - Data encryption & crypto management

As a Technical Trainer you will be responsible for all aspects of the training process which includes delivering courses and workshops to Thales business partners and customers in the APAC region.

The role should be fulfilled by a person who has several years of technical experience with Thales, Gemalto or SafeNet Encryption and Cybersecurity products, specifically the Data Encryption and Crypto Management (HSM) product line.
Technical trainers enjoy the benefits of being involved in the product roadmap on one hand while having good acquaintance with the field requirements and implementation (customers) and with the Engineering on the other hand.

As a technical trainer you will become a source of knowledge for Thales engineers, business partners and customers while being highly involved in projects and exposed to the development processes.

A week in the life of a Technical Trainer:

• Involvement and responsibility over aspects of the training process.
• Delivering certification courses, advanced workshops and webinars to Thales business partners and customers.
• Responsibility of products official partner certification for applicable products.
• Create real world, relevant training scenarios based on knowledge and experience absorbed over time.
• Adjust, customize and deliver training based on the target audience level of expertise.
• Development of corporate-class training material meant for delivery, as well as on-going updates of existing training material and supplementary technical documentation.
• Planning and managing advanced training sessions.
• The role may require international travel, amount of trips expected in a month is at least 3 (60% of the time).

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

To do this job, you need to have a deep level of technical expertise in Thales, SafeNet and Gemalto products, IT infrastructure and related areas of knowledge.

We would like someone to join our team who is energetic, has good inter-personal communication skills, able to adapt and adjust when faced with a problem and have excellent presentation skills. You must also be fluent in English both written and spoken.

You need to have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and experience / BSEE or BSCS, MCSE, CCIE or equivalent preferred.

We are looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience as a technical trainer, senior customer support representative or sales engineer.
You must have experience in developing and delivery of training material.
