Learning Experience Designer

Job Description

The Thomson Reuters Tax Professionals E-Learning team is looking for a highly-motivated individual to join the team as a Learning Experience Designer. This individual will work closely with stakeholders in Customer Success as well as other departments such as Product Management, and Development, to design, develop, build, and maintain content created by Customer Success for the consumption of external customers. As a member of the team, this individual may also be responsible for managing a team of peers and Subject Matter Experts in the development of large scale projects. Additionally, the Learning Experience Designer developer will be responsible for maintaining and improving processes and procedures related to content creation as well as manage systems that staff members may use to deliver content.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supports the design, development and build out of intuitive e-learning for end-user consumption
• Maintenance of existing e-learning
• Leads and participates in the production of content related projects in order to ensure a high quality and effective final product. Responsibilities include but are not limited to planning, scripting, content build out, review, and publishing of a variety of projects
• Helps organize and maintain content files, processes and standards related to e-learning
• Responsible for maintaining and sharing tool expertise related to Captivate, Camtasia, and other necessary tools
• Educates SME's and other project contributors on roles and process as necessary
• Supports overall activities of the Implementation & Consulting Team
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 3 or more years experience in building curriculum for adult learners
• Bachelor’s Degree in instructional design, information management, other program or relevant experience
• Experience with Captivate, Camtasia, or similar tools such as Storyline
• Ability to demonstrate e-learning design and development skills by providing a portfolio of examples
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple high-priority projects in order to meet due dates and budget
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels within an organization
• Highly motivated with a strong work ethic
• Experience with Thomson Reuters Tax Professionals products is preferred but not required
• Experience with Docebo or other learning management systems is preferred
• Experience in HTML & CSS is preferred but not required
