ABOUT THIS JOB

As a Stats Operator, yoiu are required to register data during live matches of numerous team sports (football, baseball, basketball, golf). With the aid of an advanced system all game events will be entered in our database in real-time. This happens live during the match on the basis of TV images. You work as quickly as possible to deliver this deep sports date to our (media) customers

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• You are an avid follower of football or baseball, and you have in-depth knoweledge of at least one of these sports. You are prepared to learn more about the other sports as well (basketball & golf).
• You are able to recognize on-pitch situations instantly: you are the first among your freinds to see that a goal will be cancelled because of offside or to immediately recognize the baseball umpire's signals.
• Available for at least one nday duirng the weekend, Availability on weekday evenings is a plus, but a must if you want to work on baseball
• Being able to work quickly with computers, a sharp view and the ability to keep a cool head when tempers flare on the pitch.
• Excellent communication skills, collecting sports information is teamwork. You need to be able to communicate clearly and accurately with your supervisors and colleagues, even during the most hectic situation of a match.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOU

You work when there are games on. So mostly during the weekends and evenings. Number of hours you work will vary, depending on the number of games in a week.

Qualifications:

• Passion for sports, the matching keyboarding skills and willingness to work off hours
