Job Description

JOB BACKGROUND / BUSINESS CONTEXT

The TTS business offers a variety of products developed globally, regionally and locally. Processing of the TTS products is mostly done in various CSCs and part of it is processed locally. TTS products and policies must meet all related policies and be in line with local and global regulations.

TTS is the first line of defense in managing the control environment, and the In Business Risk and Controls area provides the subject matter expertise to the business in ensuring that this first line of defense is effective and the business can achieve its objective of delivering a pristine control environment with no surprises. In terms of controls one of our “must win battles” is to strengthen control processes to achieve full visibility and avoid past dues or retargets and operational losses.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support all activities to ensure that all policies and controls are in place and properly followed, ensuring a pristine control environment in TTS Colombia (compliance, KYC, AML, COB, Record management, Fraud, etc.).
• Act as a permanent backup for all the control roles: Senior BUCO, FMO, AISO, RMO, BUROF, MCA Coordinator, EUC Coordinator, BRC, and TTS Contact for Cross Border Data Transfer Clearance.
• Support all activities to ensure working in close partnership with the Business Heads and TTS Ops Head to ensure that all processes are identified and controls are properly implemented.
• Support the MCA process to ensure all key controls are being tested and properly assessed on a timely basis.
• Support all activities to ensure that all corporate control and monitoring programs related to TTS are in place, to guarantee that the business strategy is executed according to corporate standards and bearing in mind all applicable regulations.
• Be up to date with all policies and new regulatory requirements and support the implementation in TTS in a timely and proper fashion.
• Support all activities to ensure proper tracking of operational losses and monitoring of corrective action plans to ensure that these are not repeated
• Support all activities to ensure proper oversight to vendor management and that the process is followed appropriately according to applicable policies.
• Support activities related to Audit, Compliance Testing and Regulatory Reviews, participating in Business Reviews along with the InBusiness Risk and Controls Manager, all pre-planning and fieldwork activities for IA, review issues and findings, Support CAPs definition, follow up execution and closure of CAPs.
• Support all activities to ensure education and training to staff, to build risk and control awareness within TTS
• Support the identification, assessment and implementation of new regulations applicable to TTS.
• Participate in other day to day activities of the team.

KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE

• Knowledge on risk, compliance and control matters.
• Understanding of the control functions in Citibank, including Operational Risk, MCA, AML, KYC, FATCA, CRS, and Fraud policies.
• Experience in operational risk management.
• Understanding of the internal audit methodology.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BSc/BA in law, finance, business administration, engineer or related field.
• Postgraduate studies (preferable) in business administration, risk or related field.
• 4-5 years of experience in financial institutions
• Bilingual, fluent Spanish and English
