The Digital Campaign Operations Manager is responsible for managing the daily operational processes and procedures that support our digital marketing programs and campaigns to deliver a personalized customer experience. The Digital Campaign Operations Manager will partner cross franchise, supporting both Hem Onc and I and I. This role will work cross functionally with key marketing partners, key strategic agency partners and digital analytics teams, Celgene IT and data providers to execute the digital campaign operations strategy as supported by Sales Force Marketing Cloud.
This position utilizes deep subject matter expertise to drive innovation, thought leadership, and strategic direction of the Marketing Automation platform. Crucial to the successful execution of the role is seamless collaboration with Commercial Partners (Sales/Marketing/Market Access/CPS, Training, Strategic Planning & Decision Analytics, etc.) and Cross-Functional Partners (Medical, Legal, Regulatory, IT, etc.) to drive joint deliverables.
This position directly influences the direction of the supporting IT organization to execute on Commercial tactics aligned to strategy.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Development of Marketing Automation platform and associated analytical capabilities, continuously challenge quality and utility of the platform; explore alternative approaches, benchmark with other players in the industry and proactively make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Successfully deploy day to day campaign activities with respect to message, timing and audience to ensure digital marketing tactics are executed using best practices and company standards
  • Lead campaign governance with the inputs of team, agencies and cross functional partners leveraging functions of Salesforce Marketing Cloud tool in support of elevating the customer digital experience
  • Provide cross functional project management by collaborating with marketing peers, as well as partners in IT and other disciplines as needed
  • Lead ongoing development, deployment and continuing evolution of Marketing Automation platform, continuously innovating capabilities rolled out to date, while simultaneously implementing additional features to increase and improve functionality.
  • Partner with the Digital Analytics team and Marketers to provide critical marketing metrics to enable data driven decisions to optimize segmentation to achieve best results from email deployments
  • Acquire and maintain industry-leading expertise around digital campaign operations and other sales/marketing support platforms in order to continuously optimize the Company’s approach and capabilities in these areas.
  • Continuously identify challenges, streamline, and improve established content, processes, format, and delivery of marketing automation platform in order to produce high-quality insights aligned with business drivers that address customer needs.
  • Utilize strong project management skills to track and deliver critical marketing system projects and operational projects on time
    Skills/knowledge required:
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multiple internal functions and with key stakeholders to support the US Commercial business objectives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant business or science major of Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Healthcare experience across sales operations or related roles.
  • Strategic thinker, who can build processes, define best practices, facilitate cross partner relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, prioritize, and execute in a timely manner.
  • Prior experience managing Customer Relationship Management and Salesforce.com platforms in a Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Healthcare setting including add-on solutions such as Marketing Automation.

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks.
  • Proven team player with ability to effectively navigate and collaborate across commercial franchises, and with cross-functional partners and stakeholders. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment, managing complexity and multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, to drive communication and collaboration cross-functionally, as well as with internal and external partners.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced changing environment.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Highly energetic, well organized, self-reliant, able to successfully drive performance and deliver results with various parties in a timely and efficient manner.
    Preferred Skills:
  • MBA or Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Ability to understand business drivers and identify needs of sales and marketing leadership.
