Position Summary

The Lead Business Intelligence Consultant in the Customer Success Organization, collaborates across the organization to influence strategic decision-making by sharing data and analytics with business and industry expertise while effectively communicating operational and key performance metrics to stakeholders. This role architects innovative solutions, provides accurate reporting and insightful analysis through our Enterprise Data Warehouse and other data tools.

THE POSITION CAN BE BASED IN HOFFMAN ESTATES, PORTLAND, SEATTLE OR AUSTIN

Position Responsibilities & Essential functions

• Extracts data to be manipulated, merged, and analyzed to reports, graphs, dashboards, and other outputs to ultimately reveal performance business/products for internal users and external audiences
• Develops timely, innovative, and objective analysis which leads to fact-based solutions for strategic business issues
• Strategically aligns BIG data, metrics, and technical solutions to build integrated product for business insights and action
• Collaborates with team members and stakeholders to gather and understand data requests and requirements
• Maintains an understanding of general business drivers and trends and understand the link between analysis and business impact
• Acts as SME on relevant data sources to answer particular sets of questions and ensuring data integrity
• Responsible for advanced data analysis and develops statistical models and insights against emerging business needs
• Utilizes online analytical processing (OLAP)
• Builds & maintains integrated forecasting models and variance analysis
• Implements tools and frameworks for automating report generation, identification of data-quality issues, and data-governance
• Evaluates ongoing analytic and insight needs from stakeholders and implement digital dashboards and reporting to empower the organization and guide business decisions
• SME for Enterprise Data Warehouses
• Responsible for data mining, discovery, cleansing, and modeling
• Analyzes quantative and qualitative data
• Creates, designs, standardizes, and automates advance to complex reports on a weekly/monthly/quarterly cadence
• Supports ad-hoc requests
• Creates and maintains SOPs for the Business Intelligence team
• Ability to manage a backlog, establish priorities, multi task, and work proactively and independently
• Stays on top of industry trends and new methods to further advance the Business Intelligence Team
• Leads, coaches, and mentors less experienced team members

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor degree in a related field
• Minimum 5-8 years of prior experience
• Strong data analytics and strong problem-solving skills
• Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel
• Advanced skills with programming languages SQL, Python, R,
• Advanced skills with COGNOS, Tableau, and Data blending tools.
• Ability to analyze large volumes of raw data, package the data for further consumption, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations
• Self-starter, well organized, extremely detail-oriented and a highly collaborative team member
• Strong business analytics acumen
• History of balancing multiple priorities simultaneously with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines
• Proven ability to identify areas of opportunity in existing processes and execute appropriate improvements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with and present to all levels of the organization
• Track record of building and maintaining strong working relationships
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES & Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a related field
• Strong Financial Accumen
• Able to navigate an ETL
• Experience with Einstein analytics
