Role Overview

The PCI-DSS Systems Engineer will perform the Engineering tasks required to obtain and maintain PCI-DSS Attestation of Compliance (AOC) certification for products within the Airports Business Unit’s portfolio.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain detailed diagrams depicting the flow of Cardholder data (CHD) and the scope of the AOC certifications for the relevant products within the portfolio
  • Define, create and maintain records of user groups and the associated roles and responsibilities to be configured within the different PCI-DSS compliant products
  • Define, create and maintain the change management process for software updates made to firewalls and routers integrated within the scope of AOC certified products that are part of the Airports business unit portfolio
  • Define, create and maintain the process by which anti-virus software is patched and updated
  • Perform the process to maintain and update anti-virus software that falls within the scope of AOC certified products
  • Protect system components from known vulnerabilities, including performing the installation of critical patches within a maximum of one month from patch release.
  • Define, create and maintain a record of the approved Ports, Protocols and Services (PPS) permitted on routers and firewalls integrated within the scope of AOC certified Airports products.
  • Ensuring that PCI-DSS requirements are complied with and adhered to upon completion of significant code changes and the implementation thereof on the affected systems
  • Maintain records of Engineering’s staff’s completion of annual Secure Coding Standards training and other training. This will include both new hires and existing staff.
  • Define, create and maintain an inventory of the system components that fall within the scope of AOC certified Airport business unit products that form part of the overall portfolio
  • Perform a daily review of logs and investigate suspect behavior
  • Run the appropriate tools to conduct a weekly health check on AOC certified systems within the Airport business unit portfolio for which Collins Aerospace retains the responsibility for ongoing PCI-DSS compliance
  • Participate in an annual risk assessment review of the AOC certified products within Collins’ Airports BU portfolio.
  • Define, create and maintain a list of company approved hardware and software that is permitted to be used within the Airports BU’s AOC certified product portfolio.
  • Create and maintain an inventory of the hardware and software used within the Airports BU’s AOC certified product portfolio, and monitor compliance with list of company approved software and hardware
  • Perform daily reviews of SIEM (Software Information Event Management) logs and take appropriate action
  • Perform monthly reviews to check compliance with approved firewall rule sets and configurations
  • Review conformance of newly commissioned hardware to applicable configuration standards

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:

  • Requires a Bachelor's Degree or three years of prior relevant experience.
  • A knowledge of the Airports Business Unit’s product portfolio is desirable
  • Experience of obtaining and maintaining PCI-DSS AOCs for technology products is desirable.
  • Experience of obtaining PCI-DSS AOCs for products incorporating public cloud infrastructure is desirable
  • Knowledge of the Airport and Air Transport Industry domain is desirable.
  • Experience of using SIEM tools desirable
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other groups and disciplines in a matrixed environment
