Role Overview

As a Specialist, Accounting and Controllership within the General Accounting General Ledger team, this project-based role requires strategic thinking, strong analytical skills, and communications skills to develop new processes and procedures to support a variety of projects.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Facilitate implementation of new accounting standards (e.g., ASC 842 - Leases)
• Perform the accounting and control activities associated with inter-company loans and holding companies.
• Routinely work in multiple accounting and consolidation systems including SAP, JD Edwards, and Hyperion.
• Perform the accounting associated with the monthly UTC Treasury Netting Cycle.
• Facilitate SAP go-lives for heritage B/E Aerospace companies currently on JD Edwards, including testing and implementation.

• Strong organizational and time management
• Communication both oral and written

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other appropriate discipline
• General Understanding of Collins Aerospace Accounting processes
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP and HFM Experience
• CPA or MBA
