Essential Responsibilities

Today, the fully integrated landing systems we design, test and manufacture help millions of passengers reach their destinations safely. But we aren’t satisfied with today’s success. Our global Landing Systems team is committed to continuous improvement – we work hard to make our solutions lighter-weight, stronger and more technically advanced, so that plane travel can be safer, more affordable and more sustainable in the years to come. We are looking for the best and brightest to fly and land with us!

As an Operations Engineering Intern at Collins Aerospace you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting an Operations department in troubleshooting issues impacting production.
  • Running projects to reduce cost and cycle time
  • Investigating quality issues to drive coorective actions
  • Interacting with operators and driving improvements based upon their feedback

Education and Certifications – Modify Degree Requirement Only

  • Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or similar technical fieldBasic Qualifications
  • Must have completed at least 30 credit hours of college coursework by ­­­­­summer 2019.
  • GPA of 3.0 or above is required.
  • Must be willing to work 40 hours per week during the summer, part-time hours during school year
  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
  • Requires US citizenship or permanent residence (green card).

    • Results-oriented
