The Boeing Defense, Space and Security, Missiles and Weapon Systems division is seeking an Associate Structural and Payload Design Engineer (Level 2) to provide support to the Flight Test, Telemetry, and Termination Program and other programs for the Minuteman weapon system. The Minuteman Program is part of the ICBM Sustainment Organization, which manages various sustainment and modernization programs. This position will develop, integrate and document structural requirements to establish the system design. This position coordinates with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment and loads development, guide product design and verifies structural integrity by using analytical methods, such as finite element models/simulations, hand calculations, design-sine and other analysis tools and works with other functional and customer organizations to achieve system design certification. This position is located at Hill AFB, Utah.
Primary Responsibilities:
This position requires the ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.

Typical Education / Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Applicable and appropriate educational/certification credentials from an accredited institution and/or equivalent experience is required.
