ROLE DESCRIPTION

As a Regional Engagement Manager in the MOVE team, you are responsible for supporting the success of strategic programs that target moving legacy SAP CX solutions to the cloud. In this role, you will be mandated to ensure that prospective customers know how to MOVE fast with high quality. You will also be required to ensure that our sales support process constantly improves. The role involves supporting the sales cycle of MOVE programs, aligning with leadership and other organizations as well as driving MOVE methodology adoption across SAP Services and our partner eco-system.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Transformational Program Leadership:

  • Engage with prospective cloud customers to position our migration approach and related services
  • Position our team internally as the trusted experts in migration delivery process
  • Establish a partnership with all relevant organizations towards the success of the MOVE program
  • Influence partner organizations by positioning value to SAP CX customers
  • Engage with a forward-thinking culture in which change is a constant and success is an inherent ability to manage it, for your team, partners and customers
  • Create a scalable delivery strategy that takes into account customer needs, project complexity and the skills of SAP Delivery teams as well as partner delivery teams
  • Drive execution of Services contribution to the Sales cycle

Other Engagement Management Tasks:

  • Active support in entire Sales and Delivery Engagement, with a primary focus on Sales
  • Lead knowledge management initiatives regarding the development and use of intellectual property
  • Support knowledge sharing initiatives (i.e. Internal Enablement, Content Platforms, SAP Education, etc.)
  • Coordinate project staffing with Regional Program Managers and Delivery Leadership
  • Opportunity and Forecast Management
  • Executive Reporting
  • Partner Management

WORK EXPERENCE

Functional Experience:

  • Min. 7 years’ experience in a Senior services delivery role.
  • Ability to drive execution within area of responsibility and experience in aligning cross-topic objectives & approaches
  • Experience in strategic thinking and conceptual design of complex projects & their associated proposals
  • Solid knowledge in cloud solutions and in positioning their value for customers
  • Experience in customer interaction at the project team level for Executive and C-Level audiences
  • Knowledge and delivery experience in SAP CX product solutions (Sales, Commerce, Marketing, CRM) preferred

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Final degree (e.g. business administration, psychology, economics, computer sciences) or equivalent work experience
