DescriptionPurpose of PositionThe Sr. Director, Omni-Channel Marketing is a meaningful senior leader within Hach and a key member of the Marketing leadership team. This position leads a global department of hardworking marketing associates with ownership of driving revenue from demand generation, digital commerce and communication activities – delivered as a coordinated, consistent customer experience across all Hach go-to-market channels!
Essential FunctionsProvide leadership and drive cross-functional alignment to achieve company objectives, including but not limited to:
Leadership- Build and develop a highly-engaged, high-performing, growth-oriented organization
- Motivate associates to perform at their highest levels, experiment and innovate
- Ensure the team is doing the right things (focusing on the critical few) and doing things right (using DBS and best validated practices)
- Model commitment to DBS and champion initiatives to continue evolving the DBS growth toolkit
- Drive transparency and focused execution with strong visual management
- Lead strategy and execution for demand generation, digital commerce, web content, creative operations, digital media, communications and brand management
Omni-Channel Marketing - KPI ownership of revenue motivated by lead generation across sales channels (key accounts, field/ inside sales, channel partners) and all digital commerce revenue
- Design and deliver consistent and coordinated customer experiences across all channels including but not limited to search, website, social, trade shows and other off-line channels
- Evolve customer segmentation efforts informed by our customer profiles and behavioral data collected from within marketing and external data sources
- Make data-driven decisions to optimize channel mix and deliver the right interaction at the right time through the right channel
- Drive customer retention and expansion by improving digital commerce and research workflows on Hach.com, and driving standardized touch points across the customer ownership journey
Communications and Brand Management- Develop and align communication strategy and brand positioning with business strategy to ensure effective, impactful and consistent communication to the market
- Lead the creative operations team and outside vendors to ensure consistent communication strategies are deployed and brand standards are maintained
- Lead all aspects of the development of trade show strategies and resource allocation
- Optimize the marketing budget by measuring success to standards and making adjustments to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing initiatives
- Ensure alignment of visual brand language standards across products and communication channels
Strategy & Acquisitions- Lead and engage in brand studies, VOC interviews, and other customer insight generation activities to support Hach’s annual strategic planning process
- Partner in acquisition activity to drive Hach’s long-term growth strategy including due diligence and integration of target companies
Job Requirements Qualifications- B.A., B.S. or MBA degree in Marketing preferred or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Effective leadership skills with validated ability to develop and strengthen teams
- Experience in a combination of business-to-business and business-to-consumer markets is desired. Preference for experience with omni-channel marketing in a global, complex business environment
- Experience with MS Office suite, Acrobat, SalesForce.com, and Marketing Automation software preferred
- Detail-oriented to ensure high-quality aesthetics on presentations and creative content
- Market segmentation, research and strategy skills
- Proven ability to effectively lead a large budget
- Up to 30% travel required
