Purpose of Job

We are currently seeking a talented Graphic Designer for our facility in San Antonio TX. The Graphic Designer Leads, plans, designs, and produces graphics to best visually represent content across all media in collaboration with clients.

USAA Information Technology: A Realistic Preview

  • Under limited supervision, applies intermediate knowledge to plan and oversee design and production of moderately complex to complex graphics for video, print, interactive media, presentations and events.
  • Responsible for synthesizing moderately complex to complex requirements into visually compelling graphics.
  • Under limited supervision, applies intermediate knowledge to develop overall art direction for high level company briefings, corporate video and corporate events.
  • Applies intermediate knowledge to interpret information and statistics and create design solutions that communicate clarity, precision and efficiency.
  • Occasionally works in partnership with channel manager to understand requirements and client requests.
  • Produce high-quality, error-free work.
  • Meet regularly with company leaders to work on production assignments and deliver briefings.
  • Collaborates with team members to resolve issues and to identify appropriate issues for escalation.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Art, Communication, Marketing, Graphic Art, or a related field required or
  • 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • 4 or more years in graphic design; Advanced knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, Microsoft PowerPoint.

PREFERRED

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud to include Photoshop, Illustrator, In-design, Dreamweaver, and MUSE.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite to include PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Publisher.
  • Experience with Wiki Site Development
