Work you’ll do:

As Cloud Operations Analyst, you will be part of a global team of security professionals responsible designing, reviewing, and building cloud security solutions that balance the need for speed and flexibility with the need to protect Deloitte against ongoing and potential security threats. You will also be responsible for implementing cloud security best practices around the management of enterprise cloud infrastructure. You will serve as an operations analyst on various cloud platforms and compliance enforcement tools.

• Perform tool administrative tasks and provide application support for compliance tools platform

• Review infrastructure security risks and notifications.

• Assist with security requirements involving cloud, operating systems, applications, and databases.

• Actively assess existing cloud implementations, identify security issues, and prioritizing fixes.

• Transfer knowledge via documentation and training to software development organization

• Establish foundation for future implementation and automation requirements in the cloud, identify opportunities for automation, and develop scalable solutions

• Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders

• Follow incident management and change management processes, create run-books

• Participate in on call rotations for emergency events and escalations

• Utilize verbal and written communication skills to maintain accurate system documentation and provide training as required

In this interesting and diverse role, you’ll manage IT security strategy including both infrastructure and applications. Assist in efforts associated with security and compliance-based products in the cloud. Use your skills to identifying security issues, and prioritizing fixes. Provide mitigation recommendations to reduce identified security risks. You’ll work with internal clients around the world. This Deloitte Global role requires limited to no travel.

Who you’ll work with:

As a Cloud Security Operations Analyst you will w ork closely with business technology peers and management emphasizing collaboration and joint effort to ensure that the needs and expectations of organizational stake holders, business partners, external customers, and third-party organizations are met and/or exceeded.

To be considered for this role, there are certain qualifications you’ll have to have. And others that would be nice to have.

Required:

• 4+ years’ experience as a security professional or similar field

• Good written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical people

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time across multiple projects to achieve on-time deadlines

• Intermediate knowledge of at least one of the cloud service providers’ (Azure, AWS, GCP) platform and core services

• Knowledge of cloud networking architecture, operations, security, automation, and orchestration

• Experience with cloud security best practices for cloud provider ecosystems (Amazon AWS/ Microsoft Azure, GCP)

Education and experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Information Technology or other related discipline

Preferred:

• Experience with automation frameworks such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet is highly desirable.

• One or more of the following certifications: Azure Certified Cloud Engineer, AWS Associate Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Security and/or GCP Associate Cloud Engineer

• Experience with database SQL and NoSQL database technologies

• Experience understanding protocols, such as, SSL/TLS, CIFS, HTTP/S, DHCP, SMTP, LDAP/S, NFS, SNMP and DNS

• Intermediate knowledge of TCP/IP including the usage of stateful and stateless firewalls, access control lists, packet capture and logging, network design, Subnetting, IP routing, IPSEC virtual private networks, and intrusion detection and prevention

• Experience with compliance tooling such as RedLock or Prisma Cloud.

• Familiar with high-availability (HA) and failover implementations for network infrastructure and server systems

• Organized, responsive and highly thorough problem solver

• Operational experience (Security, Networking, IAM, etc.) with one or more of the CSPs AWS, Microsoft Azure or GCP

• Experience with cloud automation tools within the cloud service providers’ (Azure, AWS, GCP) platform.

• Experience user with Incident Management systems such as ServiceNow
