Description

Main duties:

• Technical supervision of 3 co-worker. Planning and coordination of all tests from projects and test plan.

• Independently conduct interdisciplinary lab projects requests on an EMEA level.

• Examine the request, editing, defining and tracking of lab work. Acquire and execute specific technical knowledge.

• Train co-worker on routine and non-routine lab work. Training of co-workers on used devices.

• Define valid methods and tools to fulfil project requirements. Establish and continuously review used methods. Qualification and validation of devices and methods including documentation.

• Ensure and comply with environmental, health and safety regulations in the laboratory

• Represent department in internal and external audits

• Executing organizational measures for FTAP lab

• Develop laboratory capabilities. Enhancement and modernization including CapEx planning.

• Continuous improvement of QM system and QM documentation

• Cover SLS project manager role for selected projects

• Technical and scientific support in FTAP projects

• Writing customer reports

Transferring knowledge to sales department by planning, organizing and conducting:
o Sales training
o Customer training
o Demonstration of specific lab capabilities to customer

Qualifications• Chemist or equivalent• pHD is a plus• experience in material science, polymer science• familiar with common analytical methods (FTIR, GC-MS, HPLC, UV-vis, etc.)• SEM is a plus• Previous experience in filtration is desirableRequired skills• Excellent oral and written communication skills• Self-driven and achievement motivated• Problem solving skills• Experienced in manage resources, priorities, budgets and schedules for on time delivery• Strong ability to work in multidisciplinary team environment• To work safely and to comply with the company’s health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
