Title: Financial Analyst 2

Role Purpose:

Under broad guidance, provides financial analysis and support to functions within US Business Unit to meet both corporate and operational requirements. Translates the operating plans of the specific function or organization into budget or forecast requirements.

Principal Accountabilities:

Provides financial analysis for business/function and strategic plans, budget and forecast processes. May consolidate information for these processes. Performs monthly analysis of financial results. Analyzes key financial indicators that provide financial and business insight to senior management. Monitors and reports on areas of operational risk and/or opportunity. Supports functional owner(s) in preparing plans, forecasts, and review of actual results. Provides guidance to functional support owner(s) in terms of monthly financial forecast submissions, maintenance of financial database. Participates in various ad hoc requests within the business. Interacts with senior management on various financial analyses.

Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting/Finance required with a minimum of four (4) years of accounting, financial and/or analytical experience. Must be IT literate with experience of financial reporting or accounting packages and databases. Experience with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Additional Requirements:

Excellent interpersonal and financial systems skills. Strong communication skills. Ability to proactively identify complex problems and needs and develop solutions/recommendations to solve problems. Ability to work well under pressure and to work independently with minimal supervision and to follow assignments through to conclusion. Must be highly motivated, flexible and an effective team player with the ability to multi-task. Specific experience interfacing with management.
