Allergan Data Labs is on a mission to transform the medical aesthetics business at Allergan, one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world. The medical aesthetics business is ripe for disruption and we’re building a high performing product engineering team to do just that.

Our team has been tasked with rebuilding the Allergan rewards and loyalty program holistically. We are utilizing machine learning in an effort to intelligently engage our rewards program members in a more personalized and effective way. In its current state this program services over 6 million users and is present in nearly 30,000 medical offices/spas in the U.S. We’re looking for a Sr. Mobile Engineer who is interested in working within a startup oriented environment while having the backing of a large company. • Champion code quality, reusability, scalability and security
• Build beautiful and highly functional user interfaces
• Integrate with API’s from internal and external partners
• Conduct design and code reviews

• 1+ years experience with React Native
• 4+ years experience with native iOS (Objective C, Swift) and/or Android (Java, Kotlin) development
• Understanding of React component reusability best practices
• Experience with modern JavaScript technologies (ES6/7) and interested or have used TypeScript
• Advanced debugging capabilities
• Experienced at profiling performance, memory and power
• You’ve developed, released and published at least 2 apps on the App Store with 4 star ratings or higher
• Experience or interest in GraphQL
• Strong familiarity with data structures and algorithms
• Preference for modern, thoughtful and beautiful UI/UX, as well as tools like Sketch, InVision and Adobe Creative Suite
• Proficient with Git version control
• Comfortable working within a Linux/Unix environment
• Proponent of code testing and familiar with the common frameworks for unit, integration and functional tests
• Nice to have: Prior experience working for a startup, being scrappy and owning projects
