About this opportunity

Assistant Training Manager ensures high quality of education for both internal and external customers on our iTero products and workflows. This role also has the opportunity to work on projects to enhance the education programs.

In this role, you will...

  • Provide training to internal & external customers on iTero products & workflows. Play an important role in the process of developing colleagues’ knowledge and experience, based on his/her own knowledge of product, market and customer needs.
  • Assist with review and creation of educational presentations, digital images and scans.
  • Identify improvement opportunities to enhance existing programs and/or to create new programs.
  • Accurately and thoroughly document information in the company’s database(s) about each contact they handle following defined parameters.
  • Conduct occasional evaluations on the training(s) provided to our customers by distributor personnel & assess if there is any need of further follow ups or extra educational material.
  • Establish and maintain personal and team performance metrics.
  • Improve on tools to capture & analyze meaningful customer data.
  • Provide leadership to a team of trainers. Ensures the effective fulfillment of objectives and deadlines assigned to the group.
  • Provide guidance and support to new team members or peers.
  • Ensure all processes are well documented and prepared to be audited by all government regulatory audits. Implement actions received from Quality & Regulatory Affairs department. Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.
  • Be alert to trends in requests and issues reported by customers. Research information to answer inquiries from customers and share learning’s with departmental peers and management.
  • Participate proactively to team efforts in achieving departmental and company goals.
  • Provide support to audit processes and quality management system as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

In this role, you’ll need ...

  • A bachelor’s or master degree in dentistry, biology or chemistry and/or experience in relevant technical field. Clinical/dental/orthodontic certification(s) is a plus.
  • At least 4-6 years of experience in a similar training manegment role for a fast growing international company.
  • High proficiency in both verbal and written English. Fluency in additional languages is highly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem solving, organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to pay attention to details and work with minimal supervision; Self-motivated, results oriented, dependable, creative & positive.
  • Willingness to learn & Service oriented.
  • Project Management - Develops project plans; Coordinates projects; Communicates changes and progress; Completes projects on time; Manages project team activities.
  • Technical Skills - Assesses own strengths and weaknesses; Pursues training and development opportunities; Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills; Shares expertise with others. Oral Communication - Demonstrates group presentation skills.
  • Team Work - Balances team and individual responsibilities; Contributes to building a positive team spirit. Managing People - Includes staff in planning, decision-making, facilitating and process improvement.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, excellent people skills.
  • Good knowledge of basic computer operations and Microsoft Office tools.
