Role Responsibilities:

The core responsibility of this role is to own the integration of DFS messaging, value propositions, and sales solutions within the Dell Technologies field marketing demand gen campaigns & programs. Owns the execution of the DFS regional demand gen marketing plan.

  • Fully integrates with the key Dell field marketing stakeholders / leaders
  • Becomes an active (extended) member of the Dell US field marketing team, acting as the liaison between them & DFS marketing / sales
  • Owns all regional sales enablement focusing on keeping DFS sales makers relevant in the eyes of Dell sales and end-user customers:
    • The collection and development of sales WINS stories set to a specific roadmap for delivery into the DFS WINS communication process
    • Social media amplification for US sales makers, driving the use of tools like Everyone Social
    • Payment solution positioning, key selling benefits of DFS, and the amplification of DFS’ competitive advantages
  • Drives the meaningful integration of DFS messaging in all Dell regional demand gen activities, focusing on:
    • Execution of the DFS demand gen plan (full Bill of Materials)
    • Regional sales enablement content/roadmap–ensuring sales’ awareness & adoption
    • Executing regional payment product launches, competitive benchmarking, and ad-hoc messaging
  • Expertly articulates the ways in which DFS can enable channel growth within the regional channel marketing campaign planning and messaging development cycle. Provides DFS’ strategic priorities, market/customer insights, and payment solution competitive advantages to strengthen DFS’ relevance toward achieving Dell’s goals
  • Identifies and executes on the unique opportunities for segment & vertical awareness messaging initiatives, and ensures DFS remains relevant with respective sales teams
  • Owns the West-East marketing & sales interlock planning process & delivering the business priorities into the DFS global planning cycle
  • Owns the DFS NA Sales WINS communication process for DFS including the coordination & collection of sales win narratives directly supported by the DFS Field marketing consultants. Scope & distribution includes direct, channel, and VMWare sales wins
  • Responsible to collaborate with DFS marketing ops to identify best practices to segment / filter our customer data for target audience development enabling our sales plays, email campaigns, and other targeted initiatives to drive originations growth
  • Drives sales to adopt the required ‘take-to-market’ motions and actions via play reporting, performance dashboards & post-mortem reporting. Owns the marketing & sales interlock planning process & delivering the business priorities into the DFS global planning cycle
  • Provide creative input to DFS content development, ensuring alignment with DFS regional business priorities and DFS semi-annual plan milestones
  • Actively engage with the DFS global marketing teams to ensure alignment with DFS’ global marketing plan to ensure seamless execution at local level

Role Requirements:

  • Executive presence, influencing skills and advanced communication skills
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking, creative thinking, and marketing thought leadership
  • Ability to work with teams in a complex matrix environment, with remote teams, and to cope with change and ambiguity in a rapidly moving competitive environment
  • Knowledge of customer data segmentation, sales play process, DFS SFDC, and experience with marketing organizations and methods of operation
  • 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work
  • Great team worker and positive attitude.

Preferences:

  • Advanced understanding of DFS portfolio of flexible payment solutions
  • Educated to a degree level in Marketing or similar discipline
